As i understand, clients in hopemed undergo blood pressure and body temperature test to determine if fit to have a massage. Eh di wag ng papasukin mga senior citizens and obese/overweight. Obviously, they have blood pressure/health problems which may or may not be apparent. Go somewhere else! Maybe in a hospital. Never in spas!

Had my best massage kanina hapon (August 15, 2017). Bago matapos ang massage ni thera, twice nya nilagay ang kamay ko sa titi ko, nung una kala ko wala lang. Nung pngalawang lagay nya gusto nya pala ko magjakol. Nagjakol ako habang nilalaro nya ung balls ko at butas. Ang sarap first time ko maencounter un. After massage shower lang then uwi na 🙂

Nakalimutan ko na payday pala sobra dami tao haha. I did not use steam and sauna. Ako yung twink with eyeglasses. Locker #2

ano po diffrence ng lomi sa ocho and price… sorry newbie curious

I’ve been going to this spa regularly for about 2 years now, but after my experience tonight, I will probably never come back. My friend and I reserved for our massage at 11 pm. My friend broke his leg 8 mos ago in an accident but is almost fully recovered. My friend has also had massages after the accident in more legitimate places like The Spa and Nurture Wellness as well as in-hotel massages. Both of us are also doctors.

We arrived at 1030, they took our bp and temperature. They gave us our robes which smelled like it wasn’t washed properly but we just let it pass thinking that we’d both get massaged.

A little before 11, the guard and the receptionist came in asking about my friend’s condition. My friend told them to just ignore that part completely and that it’s okay since he’s already had massages after the accident. Past 11, we still weren’t called. The receptionist came in again asking about his condition cause aparently the owner has his apprehensions, which we totally understood.

At this point, we decided to disclose that we were both doctors. My friend gave his complete diagnosis and even gave his number and handed his PRC License. After that, my therapist was calling me, of course I didn’t want to leave my friend so I stayed and waited with him. After around 20 minutes, there was still no decision from the owner. I went out to the reception asking them to tell their boss to just make up his mind rather than make us wait. We didn’t mind just leaving since at this point We were getting pretty pissed off already.

A little before 12, that’s when he finally decided to just say no. The staff were pretty apologetic but we really didn’t care anymore. I even told the staff that if the owner was a doctor and he took that long to decide, all his patients would be dead already.

Upon leaving, the guard said that the owner isn’t even a doctor. Which pissed me off even more. I guess passing the boards and knowing the history of a person’s own condition doesn’t amount to anything in the mind of someone who has little medical knowledge.

At the end of the day, you can pretend to be as legitimate as you want but you can differentiate the real deal from the pretenders with how they manage situations like these. We didn’t mind just him getting an upper body massage, the owner could have just bumped my friend’s lomi to a cinco or ocho. But It really would have been so much better if he just said no right away rather than make us wait the length of what our massage should have been. But even with the assurance of the two of us despite being doctors, he still couldn’t make up his damn mind.

Lesson learned, we’ll just stick to getting massages in hotels and real spas.

Got a bad experience from Hopemed. Totoo nga na naghahang sila ng phone para di na mag entertain ng guest. For what? Dapat di nila ginawa yan at ientertain parin un mga tumatawag para masabihan din sila if puno na or may availability pa.

Earlier this afternoon around 1 or 2pm tumawag ako to inquire their service coz i wanna try the expensive one which is the Lomi, then sabi sa akin if decided na ako tawag nalang daw ulit ako to reserve, then mga around 3+pm, tumawag ako di na sila matawagan, hanggang almost 5pm di parin matawagan, cannot be dialed or something parain sinasabi sa phone…. hinayaan ko nalang at nag grab na ako after work papunta dun. Dumating ako ng Hopemed around 5:30pm at ang salubog sa akin ng receptionist ay fully booked na daw. Ugh!

Lalo ako nabadtrip nung napansin ko nakahang ang phone nila, bigla ko naalala na may nabasa akong thread about Hopemed na naghahang sila ng phone, totoo nga! Di ko na naiwasan sabihan un receptionist, what’s the point of hanging up the phone… todo tanggi nung umpisa, then pinasa sa ibang tao, sabi iba daw receptionist yun early afternoon baka nahang nya ksi sya ngayon palang daw pumasok, ilan ba female receptionist sa Hopemed? Nung huli sinabi nalang nya sobra dami daw kasi tao kanina pang tanghali, sobrang busy… ok… Kung busy bat naentertain ako nung unang tumawag ako at nung tinanong ko madami na ba tao sabi wala pa gaano? Second, kala ko ba kakadating lang nya at ibang receptionist un may hawak early afternoon, bakit parang since early afternoon sya narin ang receptionist dun kasi alam na alam nya mga pangyayari.

Calling the management of Hopemed, ayus ayusin nyo yun sistema ninyo. Yun pag hahang ng phone hindi paraan yan para umiwas sa clients, ientertain nyo parin sana un mga tumatawag para kahit fully booked na maadvise nyo sila at para di na masayang oras nila pumunta dun. Gaya ko, sinayang nyo oras at travel expense ko!

Anyway, sorry for the semi-long post, just want to share this experience to you guys.

Bakit ganun may mga thera na hindi na na pwede mag ocho pang lomi na lang daw. Sana isang klase na lang ng masahe ang i offer nyo. And pipilitin ka sa ibang thera pero malalaman mo na may iba pang available na mas maaga. Nauna ako magpareserve sa friend ko pero sya hapon na tumawag mas maaga pa naging oras ng massage nya kumpara sa akin.

Si ECHO nagmasahe for the 1st time this weekend and masasabi ko napagaling nya, nawala lahat ng pagod ko sa gym at sports at gumaan katawan ko. isa na siya sa kukunin ko rin.
