@Disappointed: Si Julius pihikan ‘yan, namimili ng client. Minsan kasi tumawag ako sa phone at ni-request ko siya, di ko pa kasi siya nasubukan. Narinig ko sa phone nag-uusisa siya sa receptionist, tapos di nga raw siya puede. So iba na lang kinuha, nag walk in ako dun later on. Nandun si Julius pero di ko siya pinansin. Ewan ko kung alam niya kung ako yung tumawag earlier.
Chinek ko uli site nila ngayon, dami na naman bagong therapists. Nawala pa yung mga gusto ko nuon. Anyways, try ko uli yung mga bago. Ganun talaga, you have to try para ma-experience mo kung magaling o hindi at kung husto sa oras para malaman mo sino mga uulitin mo o yung hindi na.

Very disappointed. Made a booking the night before for J****s for 4am at my hotel which is about 1.2km away near greenbelt. I was expecting to have a massage before my flight. The front desk lady who answered the call was always giving an ok ok response when I called to reconfirm before midnight. No one turned up at 4 and 430am I made a call just to make sure… Only to be told julius not available… Ok ok. Bad reception, I could have tried another but no thank you to this spa again.

it was my first time to that spa, a friend of mine brought us to that spa, actually we are group of 4 . the body wrap was good with head massage but instead na makakawala ng stress lalo akong na stress nung almost patapos na na nag ask ng ES… i said no… he insist and make bulong na almost kssing my ears… what the heck nag walk out ako after the shower… sobrang kulit ng masseur ….

natry ko si markus kanina… mabait kung sa mabait kasi cavitenyo pala tubong tagaytay… kaso medyo di makinis ang mukha at di naman kagwapuhan…puro oil at hagod, di pa marunong magmasahe..mukhang bago pa talaga kasi sa hotel pala sya dati bartender… tapos ayun nung matatapos na..1k daw kung gusto ko magparaos..ayun tinangihan ko..medyo lugi naman at di ka naman titigasan sa kanya… ayun tinapos na agad…tama ng 200 na tip buti nga nagtip pa ako hehehe. never again…

Marty was the one who serviced me. Good job. He knows his craft, systematic ang routine niya. Friendly and good-looking, as well. I strongly recommend him. Clean massage only.

First time ko magpamassage dito, nakakadisappoint. Pumepetiks yung masahista. Lalo lang akong nastressed. Sayang ng ibinayad ko dito. Ampangit! Worst home service massage. Di na ako uulit dito. At ipamamalita ko sa mga friends ko yung bad experience kong ito. Nakakainis!

@ Mark: Ngye, sarado din yung Kalayaan branch? Ang weird naman. Pagkatawag ko dun, the following day nagsara din sila (based on the timeline of our posts)? Something’s fishy kasi parang illogical na isara yung spas dahil nag-expire ang working permit. Di ba dapat beforehand alam na ng admin na mag-eexpire ang permit kaya dapat nilalakad na ang renewal? Baka cover up lang yung kwento na yun. Sa post ni Mnrv tungkol naman sa permit ng therapist. Ma-ocular inpsection nga yung Arnaiz branch nila sometime this week.

Ok, tinawagan ko yung landline nila (4942591), nai-direct sa Kalayaan Ave. branch nila. Naka-close nga yung Arnaiz Ave. branch pero in process na raw yung reopening nila due to the expiration of their business permit. By Monday, hopefully, open na uli sila. Try calling their landline first to verify if you plan to drop by next week.
FYI, yung Kalayaan Ave. branch nila is located across PhilPlans building, may mga call centers daw dun sa building na yun. Yun yung landmark na binigay ni Tina (yung sumagot sa call ko). From Edsa, take Kalayaan Ave. (may interchange dun sa intersection) tapos lampas lang daw ng 7-11. Makikita mo daw PhilPlans bldg. on the right. Na sa other side of the street sila. Actually, nadaanan ko na yung branch nila dun minsan pero I was driving at gabi yun, kaya di ko rin mamemorize yung exact location niya so I asked Tina. May alloted parking space din daw sa harapan nila. Public transport, di so sure how but I’m sure there’s jeepneys or tricycles plying Kalayaan Ave. from Edsa (or Guadalupe?). Tanong-tanong na lang siguro sa mga utaw dun. Or better yet, call their landline and ask for directions on how to get there using public transport.

Di ako natuloy last week, balak ko pa naman tonight nang makita ko posts above. Hmm, palagay ko iniipit sila ng munisipyo o barangay office. Alam niyo na, palangis. I’m pretty sure magbubukas din yan pag nagkasundo sa “presyo.” Naalala ko tuloy nung habang nagpapamasahe ako nuon dun sa lumang site pa nila, narinig ko sa reception area parang may dumating na health officer. Niyayakag niya na magpa-testing ang mga therapists dun sa clinic nila. Tagal ng usapan nila, distracting nga.
Anyways, subukan kong sumilip later tonight.

Wow. I really like the way you provide details to these things.
There are a good number of therapists in R-Oriental. I just haven’t tried home / hotel service yet because I really have not had it “all the way” with the therapists. Siguro, HJ lang, okay talaga with me.
I did try Julius the last time. Pihikan nga and nagmamadali. Parang in demand. I’m pretty sure that if he acts like that all the time, he’ll just be taken as a “first try” but with no repeat business. Sad, because he’s cute and he seems to have a nice built.
I’ll try Mart next time.

tried kevin. really not good in massage. nagmamadali. ‘yung parang para lang madaanan na kamay nya lahat ng body parts na dapat imasahe. ang gulo ng strokes na parang ewan ang flow, walang direction at sequence. tpos, parang 30mins sa likod. 15mins sa kamay. 10mins sa ulo. kinulang pa ng 5 mins. sayang, gwaping sana kahit medyo stocky. pero gusto ko pa din sya itry ulit at kunin ang kiliti nya. hopefully, far far far better than my first time with him.

Best massage , for a small value cost. Clean, but not condusive for spa setting. Best massuer so far, is ken. Ken could deliver hard massage, no es, good attitude. If youre looking for a guapo masseur, he is not ideal, but he is the best massuer i have tried.

i tried them again, and they already expanded to an adjacent space. extension was very roomy with spacious cubicles. massage was good as usual. this time it had a better ending. i would still recommend this spa – i like it when management do try to improve their services – getting a bigger place was a good idea. the only thing is, they do not have a shower room in the new place…

nagpamassage ako dito kahapon, ayos ang massage nila and very professional ang masseur, ayun natanggal lahat ng lamig ko sa katawan at gumaling ako agad sa trangkaso, di gaya sa asian massage malate and makati, na try ko pero poro haplos lng ginagawa tapos bubulungan ka ng jajakulin daw…hello pumunta ako para magpa massage hindi para magpa ES, kasi kaya ko naman gawin un mag isa…the best ang R ORIENTAL SPA…RATE KO 10/10 sa massage.

tried their service today with k. massage was a cpmb of shiatsu and swedish, massage rating for this masseur 9/10. he was that good, massage u wud normally get from a high end spa. very skilled, looks was not bad. faxilities – 4/10. plaxe was kinda cramped as expected from these kid of spas from the low end of the spectrum, was clean enough though. towels were clean. cubicle was small. no parking forvthe arnaiz branch. overall rating – 6.5/10 because of the place. recommending this spa if u r not very effie with facilities or location. will i go back? yes.

ive tried this twice. my first time was a robbery. i was practically ripped off P250 more than the actual amount. the lady receptionist misinformed me that the massage with body scrub was only P500 but the massage was for 30 mins only and i had to add P250 more. i reported this to the owner by it turned out that i was the one lying but when i came back with a different name i only paid P500 for an hour of massage and body scrub. lesson learned. don’t ask for the price. just tell them what you want and pay them after. you have the website though or their text for the price list

I think you are confused co’z I’ve been to that Spa, I had a good experience there and they informed me in detail their packages. The bodyscrub with massage was really PHP 500 (inclusive of 30 mins scrub and 1 hour massage). If you add another hour for massage, that would be an additional PHP250.
Its not fair to say you are robbed where in fact its only misinformation or you just didn’t hear the receptionist clearly.
